MARCH MADNESS FUN WITH WORDS!
- Choose a 3 letter word, such as cap. Have your child substitute different beginning sounds to make new words (lap, map, rap, nap, sap, tap, zap.
- Ask your child to say a word without the first sound. Example: say sit without the /s/ sound (it) or say brat without the /b/ sound (rat). You can also do this with the last sound. Say cart without the /t/ sound (car)
