The second annual Waterbury Invention Convention was held this past Monday, March 13th at the Gilmartin School. The young inventors were from 16 elementary schools that took part in the Invention Convention as part of the Extended School Hours program. Of more than five hundred students taking part at the school level , 150 were selected for the Waterbury Invention Convention. Fifty seven students will be going on to the Regional Invention Convention at Quinnipiac University March 25th. Students selected at the regional event will attend the State Invention Convention April 29th. The National invention Convention is held in Washington DC June 3rd.
