Welcome to Wilson's
Library Media Center!

Students visit the library for 45 minutes each week with their class. At the library students learn how to effectively use and create information. The skills that students learn in the library include:
- Locating, accessing and evaluating information
- Organizing knowledge from information, drawing conclusions about information and creating new knowledge
- Asking questions and finding answers through the research process
- Assessing one's own learning
Students borrow one book from the library each week. Students are encouraged to find a book that they will enjoy reading.
If a student is missing their library book for 3 weeks, a notice about the book will be sent home.
