Solar Eclipse Safety

Connecticut will experience a partial solar eclipse on Monday, August 21st. PLEASE do not look directly at the solar eclipse unless you are wearing certified solar eclipse safety glasses. Doing so will result in permanent eye damage, including possible permanent blindness. There are also several methods by which you may safely view the eclipse using indirect methods.

For more information on how to SAFELY view the solar eclipse, visit the solar eclipse safety information on the NASA website: https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/safety.
