Congratulations to Argenis Herrera on being chosen as a Senate Page. Argenis will spend four months in Washington DC!
Entrance to the program is highly competitive and academic standing is an important criterion.
A pages' primary duties are delivering correspondence and legislative material within the Capitol complex. Other duties include taking messages for senators, calling them to the phone, preparing the Senate chamber for sessions and carrying bills and amendments to the desk.
A rotation system is used so that every page has an opportunity to experience all areas of service.
While in Washington DC, Argenis will also attend the U.S. Senate Page School.
