Parent Roadmaps to the Common Core Standards

The Council of the Great City Schools' parent roadmaps in English language arts/literacy and in mathematics provide guidance to parents about what their children will be learning and how they can support that learning in grades K-8. These parent roadmaps for each grade level also provide  three-year snapshots showing how selected standards progress from year to year so that students will be college and career ready upon their graduation from high school.

El Consejo de las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Great planes de trabajo para padres matemáticas orientar a los padres sobre lo que sus hijos van a aprender y cómo pueden apoyar ese aprendizaje en los grados K-8. Estos planes de trabajo de los padres para cada nivel de grado también ofrecen tres añosde instantáneas que muestran cómo el progreso normas seleccionada de un año a fin de que los estudiantes serán universidad y listos para una carrera al graduarse de la escuela secundaria.

National PTA Common Core State Standards Initiative

The Common Core State Standards Initiative (CCSSI) is an effort designed to improve educational outcomes for students by developing a set of common, voluntary, internationally-benchmarked academic standards in mathematics and English language arts.
