The Special Education Department is committed to providing high quality instruction by implementing individualized, researched based practices to empower students to reach their own potential and become productive members of society.
Goal #1 Meet the varied needs to students with disabilities by establishing high expectations and developing quality Individual Education Plans that deliver rigorous and effective instruction that comply with state and federal regulations.
Goal #2 Programmatice planning to ensure equal access to quality curriculum services, and supports that is aligned to CCSS and students' present levels of performance.
Goal #3 Provide all student with a positive safe school climate that is respectful and actively engages families
Goal #4 Transition programming for students focusing on responsibility, independence and self advocacy to make a smooth transition through education into career and adulthood.
