Waterbury Public Schools is deeply committed to strengthening and enhancing its communication with parents, families and community stakeholders. We believe in empowering our families with timely and relevant information so that they may make the most informed decision about their child's education.
We utilize several platforms to communicate relevant and timely information, such as the district website, social media platforms, the news media and, most recently, ParentSquare. ParentSquare, an online platform, was launched in August 2020 and as of March 2021 99% of our families are connected through the platform. If you are a parent, and are not connected to ParentSquare, please reach out to your child's school.
Our social media accounts are not intended to be our primary communication channel. For issues and concerns of a personal nature, please begin with your child's school. We do not tolerate comments that include obscenities, personal attacks or spread misinformation. We will report any threats to law enforcement.
