Dance / Shake / Donate

Sunday, June 14th, 2015, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Raymour and Flangan - "Shake it off" for Parkinson's Disease. More information.

Parents, staff and students: We now have a page entitled 2015 Summer Programs. This page will include links to brochures, applications, and other information related to Waterbury Public School summer programs, as well as programs offered by local community agencies. Dash and Bash

The DASH is a 5K run to benefit the youth programs at PAL, Waterbury YMCa and the Boys and Girls Club. One mile walkers are also welcomed. The BASH follows at Pies & Pints on Leavenworth Street. See flyer for details.  Registration begins at 9:00 AM, race at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 30th, in Library Park.

Revised Dress Code

The Board of Education voted to adopt changes to the district's dress code.  Click here for new policy.

Smile Builders Spring Schedule

Parents: Smile Builders is a program that provides dental cleaning services to students during the school day. It is available to all students, including those with private dental insurance, HUSKY plan, or uninsured. Check the attached calendar for more information as well as dates when Smile Builders will be visiting your child's school. Flyer with calendar.

BOE Approves 2015-2016 School Calendar

The Board of Education approved the calendar for the 2015-2016 school year at its meeting of February 5, 2015. School will begin August 26, 2015 for students. Staff will be returning for professional development on August 24 and August 25. New teacher orientation is August 17 - 19.

Pre-Kindergarten Registrations

Registrations for the public school pre-kindergarten classes will be accepted January 7, 2015 through May 29, 2015. Click here for more information.
