Dear Students & Parents,

The goal of John F. Kennedy High School is to maximize the academic achievement and character development of each and every student.  The John F. Kennedy staff recognizes that students have individual differences, interests, and abilities, and therefore expects all students to strive to fulfill their personal potential.  John F. Kennedy High School sets high expectations and provides programs that encourage independent and creative responses and the skills necessary to meet the challenges of an ever-changing technological society.  John F. Kennedy High School seeks to instill in students the pleasure of learning and importance of self respect and respect for others, while maintaining personal responsibility.  More than ever before, societal factors impact our students.  For this reason the successful accomplishment of our goal requires the active participation and cooperation of students, faculty, parents, the Board of Education, business leaders, and the overall community

"LET THE WORD GO FORTH FROM THIS TIME AND PLACE, TO FRIENDS AND FOE ALIKE, THAT THE TORCH HAS BEEN PASSED TO A NEW GENERATION OF AMERICANS."

             JOHN F. KENNEDY
