DCF Mandated Reporter Training
Staff members who complete the training can now print out a 'Certificate of Completion' at the end. Group viewing continues to be an option. It is mandated that all district employees coming in contact with students be trained. This includes teachers, paraprofessionals, cafeteria and maintenance staff, etc. Please maintain a sign-in sheet and/or copy of the certificate for all employees that complete the training - it will be requested for sign-off by Dr. Ouellette.
Quick note: Training is required every 3 years however many schools have chosen to complete the training with their staff every year to ensure compliance and train new teachers/staff.
Welcome back to the August firestorm! As the gatekeepers and "go to people" for each of your schools I am seeking your help and cooperation. Please do not direct your staff to call my phone and leave messages related to badges, it will not be acted upon in a timely manner as I am out of the office more then I am in during the first three weeks of school.

Once acted upon you will receive a confirmation or inquiry for further information.
Photo ID hours are: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm in room 310 of the Chase building. Please call 203-574-8000 before you arrive to assure someone is available to take photos.
