About Us

The Operations Department is comprised of Facilities Maintenance Department., Food Services, School Security and Safety, Information Technology, Pupil Transportation Departments and the Welcome Center. Our guiding principle is to create and sustain safe, clean and healthy learning environments and facilities.

We strive to provide cost effective and efficient infrastructure that supports learning for our students and staff. Operations works in collaboration with all other Education Departments and City agencies to provide safe learning spaces for all Waterbury Public Schools students and staff.
