Waterbury Adult Continuing Education
Waterbury Adult Continuing Education offers programs, including Citizenship Preparation, English as a second language (ESL), General Education Diploma (GED), High School Diploma, Spanish GED, and Adult Basic Education (ABE). Adult Education also offers a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program as well as self-enrichment programs.
This program prepares adult learners to pass the four-part, computer based GED exam to earn a State of Connecticut diploma. Students also receive necessary instruction in each of four subject areas: Science, Social Studies, Mathematics and Reasoning through Language Arts. Instructors will also review the official website (GED.com) where students can access related information and exam registration procedures.
