About Us

The Liaison to Education functions as a liaison between the Superintendent Office and the needs of children/families. The duties of the liaison to education are to provide resolutions to issues brought up by a parent/guardians and/or student to ensure the educational needs of a student are protected. The Liaison works to provide a resolution to issues by following district procedures that address and resolve concerns.

The district is committed to the belief that all stakeholders have a right to register concerns about district instruction, programs, and materials, operations and/or staff members. Concerns will be addressed and resolved as close to their origin as possible. The procedure outlined is outlined below:

Procedure:

1. Meeting with school principal to discuss concern, outcome of the meeting is not satisfactory to parent.

2. Concerned party completes the attached form and submits it to Roxanne Augelli.

3. A response will be made within 24 hours to determine next steps.

*Possible next steps:

Phone call with Roxanne Augelli
Meeting with school personnel
Meeting with pertinent personnel

4. If a satisfactory outcome cannot be determined, a phone call/meeting with the assistant superintendent will be scheduled.
